2022 NYC School Survey: Available in NYCSA for Families

As noted in the February 15 edition of Principals Digest, the 2022 NYC School Survey is now open through March 25, and will give families, students in grades 6–12, teachers, and select support staff the opportunity to provide schools with feedback that will help them reflect on the past year and understand the needs of their communities. To ensure the greatest participation in the survey, families can now log in to their NYCSA account to complete the NYC School Survey without an access code.To ensure the greatest level of support to schools, BCO teams have access to Panorama Education’s platform to track response rates for all survey populations participating in the survey at their respective schools. Principals and survey coordinators also have access to this information. Response rates consist of the number of surveys received so far, and the percentage of surveys received when considering each group’s population size.

As in the past, survey responses are confidential, therefore, schools will not have access to individual survey responses. Reports with aggregated survey responses will be available in the summer. To log on to Panorama’s platform, visit NYCDOE.Panoramaed.com and use your DOE email username (do not include @schools.nyc.gov) and password. To access response rates, once logged-in, click on the “Response Rates” icon in the home screen.

For additional information on NYCSA and Student Profile, refer to the NYCSA/FAM/Student Profile Wiki. For parent resources, including an overview of NYCSA, see the NYC Schools Account webpage.

For questions about NYCSA and FAM, please email nycschoolsaccount@schools.nyc.gov. Note that this inbox is for school-based staff only. For general policy and systems questions, contact your academic policy and systems lead. For survey questions, email surveys@schools.nyc.gov.
